Towards incorporating medical plain language in arText claro (2022UPF-MS-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Research project developed at\u00a0Departamento de Filolog\u00edas Extranjeras y sus Ling\u00fc\u00edsticas<\/a>\u00a0from the\u00a0Facultad de Filolog\u00eda<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Universidad Nacional de Educaci\u00f3n a Distancia (UNED)<\/a>, with the collaboration of the IULATERM<\/a>\u00a0group and the\u00a0Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Medicina de Familia y Comunitaria<\/a>\u00a0(semFYC).<\/p>\n

This project has been carried out thanks to the\u00a0European Union-NextGenerationEU, Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and\u00a0Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, through a call from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).<\/span><\/p>\n

Budget:\u00a069.700 euros (principal investigator recruitment and relocation expenses)<\/p>\n

AIMS AND METHODOLOGY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This project has two main objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

OBJECTIVE\u00a01. Incorporate in arText claro the possibility of writing medical texts for patients in clear language.<\/p>\n

OBJECTIVE\u00a02. Integrate into the lexical level of the tool a glossary of medical terms with their simple variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
