Our colleague Jia Chen defended her doctoral dissertation on November 12, 2025, at the Facultad de Formaci\u00f3n del Profesorado y Educaci\u00f3n of the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid. Congratulations!<\/p>\n

The dissertation is titled \u201cWriting in Spanish with Technology: A Study on the Use of arText by Chinese Students of Spanish as a Foreign Language\u201d, and it was supervised by Juan Antonio N\u00fa\u00f1ez and Iria da Cunha.<\/p>\n

The dissertation received the highest grade, cum laude by unanimous decision. Many thanks to the examination committee for their valuable contributions to the research: Manuel Romero (Universidad de C\u00e1diz), Beatriz Sedano (Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid), and M. Amor Montan\u00e9 (Universitat de Barcelona).<\/p>\n
